Xclusive Divas Scholarship

Mississippi Residents Only
Scholarship: $1,200 gift that will be given to a graduating high school
Potential Candidates: Must be a graduating senior, with plans to attend any four-year college located in Mississippi. Must be a Mississippi resident.
Application deadline: August 31, 2023. The application must be postmarked by August 31, 2023 (no exceptions).
Awarded Recipients Ceremony: TBA. The award is subject to an acceptance letter, schedule, and attendance verification from the four-year college located in Mississippi.
Requirements: All applicants must have an affiliation with a church. All qualifying applicants must submit all applicable information by August 31, 2023 (postmarked by the deadline) to the following address:

All Applications must include the following:

A Completed application for the scholarship

An Official sealed transcript from your high school.

Two letters of recommendation from a non-family member. One letter of recommendation must come from the pastor of your church. The other recommendation can come from but is not limited to a current or past teacher, principal, mentor, or employer.

An essay of five hundred words and one thousand words (max) must be typed with the following information included but not limited to:

​What makes you a DIVA (devoted, inspired, victorious, and saved) for Christ?

How has music inspired you? Are you in the choir or do you play a musical instrument (please name section and instrument)?

How have you been an instrument for change within your community and church?

What are your short term and long-term goals? What are your aspirations?

Why is attending college important to you?

Are you a member of any organizations outside of church (school, community, etc.)? If so, what are they and what are your duties?
